The Importance and Benefits of Becoming a Noble

Welcome Nobles!
Being noble means having excellent moral character. Being wealthy or influential does not automatically make one a noble, nor are all nobles wealthy and influential. Even a poor person can be noble. An 8-year-old child who donates some of his allowance is Noble in our eyes! Anyone can become a Noble simply by making a donation of some kind. We would much rather have 100 people donate $10 a month (something everyone can do) than have one person donate $1000 (though we would gladly take that too.)
In days long past, Knights needed funding from Nobels. The Knights fought on the battlefields and did the hard work seeing the devastation that was done by the enemy. Every day we see people who have lost their memory or worse, have lost even their ability to move. We hope to get to the baby-boomers before this happens. The ravished are your parents and your grandparents and for some your husbands and wives who are attempting to survive in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. We do the hard work.

Your work is easy. You get to fund our efforts and watch the lives being saved by your donations. We can’t do it without you. We Silver Knights are all volunteers.
Many of us have invested all of our personal funds and can do no more. We need your help to continue. Being a Noble is not about finances. It is about having a loving and giving attitude toward those who raised you and made you what you are today.
We have a big job ahead of us. By the end of 2007 our goal is to have 500 adults enrolled in our 1-year chess course. It costs $100 in materials to provide each student with the chess sets, lesson plans, flash cards, framed certificates, metals, trophies and other awards to encourage them as they progress through the class. We will let you do the math.
We would like to express our appreciation for your donations by giving you metals of honor! Giving is not a matter of finances; it is a matter of the heart. Anyone with a loving heart for our parents and grandparents will find a way to become a Noble! You can participate in the different ways.
Your name and the metals you have earned will appear on the NOBLES HALL OF FAME.
